Hi all,
Pd version 0.42-4 is out on http://crca.ucsd.edu/~msp/software.htm
or via subversion on sourceforge:
svn checkout https://pure-data.svn.sourceforge.net/svnroot/pure-data/trunk/pd/
This fixes the crash bug Luke Iannini tracked down (a patch containing

Hello,
Go back to home.
Hmm, i have done some tests using the shell and/or PHP and there is
still this problem with UDP protocol.
So, my conclusion is i have a poor network (small LAN with Ethernet
and WiFi and a bridge between).
I can't figure out why i loose 78% of TPDU on this simple networ

hello,
why do you use list2symbol?
your making 1 single symbol with this, but what you want is a list composed of
2 symbol + 3 float.
connect you pack s s f f f directly to the list prepend add and everything will
work.

Hmm, I'm using the most recent version of pd [built from source] and
the most recent version of dssi~ [built from the svn of pd-externals].
I have:
DSSI_PATH=/usr/lib/dssi/:/usr/local/lib/dssi/
and have a few dssi plugins in /usr/lib/dssi/ :

Ok, thanx for the tips.

it's a minor bug in pix_data.

Here a patch like iohannes, but using [pix_data] instead of [pix_dump].
Why i get different (wrong) colors with [pix_data] ? For exemple
white is (0.996,0.996,0.996), it should be (1,1,1).
It seems to work perfect with [pix_dump].

Yep, nice patch to select a color when you have many objects.
I have done a patch using only a picture and [pix_data] (like
photoshop), but the iohannes patch is more general.

Closely related to this issue, as far as I know it is still not
possible to create certain characters in Pd at all. I forget now whether it
was a backslash, foreslash or maybe colon, but last time I tried using all

character codes,
I know this has been discussed before, but I just wanted to throw this
question out there again: why doesn't Pd have a quoting mechanism? I
think Max uses regular "" double quotes and I haven't heard too many
complaints. What are the pitfalls or hangups? Perhaps its related to

Hi
I've triedpix_background and can't see how two images are fed in (but
it's late and I need to come back to it again later in the week). I
had already tried pix_chroma_key without much success but I'll have a
look at this tutorial and see if it helps. Again if anyone has a
