Hello,
My question is regarding the citation of the Pure Data in a conference
paper as I am mentioning that we are using a patch made in PD to
record a 24-channel microphone array.
Prompt reply will be really appreciated.

Very simple,

Hi Enrike,
i'm afraid i can't help too much i'll recommend that you try to
compile the object on your system (flext and xsample) instead of using
the binary.
It would also be helpful to know where exactly it freezes (running in
gdb and printing the backtrace).

It appears when compiling zexy from pd-extended svn source (0.41.4) the
resulting zexy.pd_linux fixes problems that are apparent when zexy is
compiled into separate objects (as is the case in /usr/lib/pd/extra/zexy/
folder that is a part of the pd-extended linux package).

You can already use Pd-anywhere (PDa) on the N770 and N800. I have an
N810, so if the existing build doesn't work, I could get it working at
some point. I think getting Pd or PDa running on the N900 should be
easy, like just compiling it for that CPU. I think the N900 has a ARM

i just compiled it from svn source and it is working fine. much easier

Or vbap is really easy, and works well in 2D speaker arrays.
Basically, treat your 5.1 as 6 channels in Pd. Ambisonics starts to
pay off with more than 6 speakers in 3D.
