[PD] Hi, new user. Question about max/msp and PD

Hi, Im learning PD-Max/msp. Im trying both, and seems that learning one helps learn the other. I like the free-software nature of PD, but besides that, I want to know the pros and cons of the two environments. Max is prettier and with more GUI, but is really more easy to learn? Im not interested

[PD] How to: different channels with noteout ctlout (pd ableton)

Im creating a patch to control midi instruments and control parameters. For now I can send midi data to only one channel (via midi yoke), if I want to send data to another channel I write noteout 2 and select midi yoke 2 in ableton Live, but that doesn't work. -- JM Jones

[PD] installing pd 32 bits in a 64 bit linux?

Hi, im a little confused because in windows this works different (i think). In win7 64 bits i use pd-extended 32. But In ubuntu 64 bits the 64 bits pd package says that some externals aren't fully compatible, so i want to install the 32 b version, is this possible? cheers -- JM Jones
