still not roger with declare.
first, I realized, that the helpfile for declare only exists in pd 0.41.
but even with that help, I think declare is broken (at least on osx.) I
tested it on 0.40.3 (extended) and on 0.41-2 (vanilla).
is [import] really the same as [declare -lib]?
it was just an idea... that way you will not have the problem of the one
block delay of delread~.

I am not sure when this feature was added, but when I want to use send
for a numberbox it loses its connections. I think this is a bug, it
should still be possible to connect the numberbox by wire.

to me it seems that the far clipping is not set correctly when using
gemframebuffer. if I use perspec -1 1 -1 1 1 1000 for gemwin, that does
not seem to affect the gemframebuffer. is there a message that will set
the viewpoint or perspec?

in theory, if you don't load gem and maxlib automatically, you should be
able to put [import gem] in one patch and [import maxlib] into another
and then you could use the gem scale in one patch and the maxlib scale
in the other. But I think this feature is broken right now.

I use this hack right now to get the console output into pd:
./pd 21 | while read line; do echo ${line}; | ./pdsend 1235
localhost udp; done
but maybe someone knows a better solution (that would allow normal
printout to the pd window at the same time).
best solution would probably be
speech to text in opensource software is still poor, and even poorer for
languages other than english. afaik pd also doesnot have a builtin
solution for that. you could try to use a different program for that and
parse the text, or you could try more basic approaches within pd (like
