Re: [PD] Gem as GUI
See my humble little effort in making a VU meter in Gem, as i was trying to avoid the CPU strain of 24 VU meters in Tcl/Tk. http://plessas.mur.at/ cheers, Peter glerm soares wrote: Is there any project of abstractions that uses Gem as Graphic User Interface seriously? Or it would be too much cpu expensive for DSP audio ? I'm curious about it... Re: [PD] Gem as GUI
Where is this in the library? I can't seem to find any GUI's listed under the gems category. ~Kyle On Sat, May 9, 2009 at 1:39 AM, Roman Haefeli wrote: > On Fri, 2009-05-08 at 21:21 -0300, glerm soares wrote: > > Is there any project of abstractions that uses Gem as Graphic User > > Interface seriously? > > > > I mean: Create other design of tables, envelopes, data representation, > > even other design of buttons, leds, sliders and knobs that could be > > manipulated in realtime > > > > A library of Gem objects for that could worth? glerm soares wrote: Is there any project of abstractions that uses Gem as Graphic User Interface seriously? this is totally possible. aren't there some basic objects in the pdmtl library? I also have some abstractions for that, but no serious library. marius.
