[PD] bowed string?

does anyone know of (or have) a working physical model of a bowed string for pd? and a related question: I managed to get a hold of a max file (a mac compiled file of some unknown sort - I know very little of max, and I couldn't open it on the demo version of msp which I downloaded to unloc
