If you have the Mac OS X developer tools, then you can check for sure
using 'lipo':

If it says mach-o, but wrong architecture, it's not loading the one
with the right architecture. Perhaps you have an old version in the
path too. Trying turning on verbose mode in the prefererences to
see which one is actually loading.
