i have used this one:

It has 8 equivalent outputs and 2 inputs. It sells under different brand names

i am a big fan of the piCore os. [1]
That is a stripped down read-only linux distro with loadable modules for alsa,
pure data etc..
Boot times are considerable shorter than with raspbian.
Of course it also needs some dedication to get used with it.
I have compiled pd, jack and libfftw3
Never used one, but you can try tweaking the "After" or "Requires" parameter in
the systemd script. On Bela, this commit cut down the power-to-sound time from 18 to 10 seconds
(and there's room for improvement):

to make the boot-up time shorter one can run the Raspberry Pi without
Desktop and start PD without GUI from terminal, that saves a lot of CPU
power, too.

Yep. Three were Pi 1s which I think couldn't have powered more than one
interface. I thin kyou could hang two or more off a Pi 4, but there won't
be any way to sync the audio so you'll want to run separate instences of Pd
or else enjoy the occasional audio resync-click.

It takes about a minute for the pi to boot. There is not much you can
do about that.

I had a problem with hidpi screen on linux (ubuntu mate, 20.04):
everything looks good using a 4K screen, everything is also ok when using only
one 1920x1080 screen, but pd (and only pd) use very big font when using both
screen in the same time.
The solution was to set dpi with :
