thanks. Should be fixed in git now.

Thank you and everyone involved very much.
As far as I can see the List of objects aka. help-intro.pd doesn't
contain the new objects jet and the description of clone reads - mak
copies of a subpatch, when it should read abstraction.

There are some troubles with patch-editing features while zooming=2,
that did not occur with pd v0.49
(mouse cursor position and created objects position are not consistent
with zoom=2)
As I am addicted with this zooming feature, I proposed some fixes in a
new P.R.

Hi Miller,
Just to let you know: the completion plugin doesn’t seem to work with pd 0.50-0

‘… couldn’t create’ in the Pd window instead

Do you mean the one by Henri?

Hi Miller,
Just to let you know: the completion plugin doesn’t seem to work with pd 0.50-0
test1. When I put an object, type for example ‘sf’ and press the tab key I get
‘… couldn’t create’ in the Pd window instead of a list of objects that include
’sf’ in their name.
I’m on macos 10.14.6 and
Miller, hope you catch this on time, there's a new revision of the manual
you could include on 'test2' so others could revise/check out.

cool, sort works now, but [pdcontrol] still says "or to send a command

Reading this mail with interest, I just wanted to explore the sort
function.
Opening the help file and clicking on 'sort' crashes pd. :(
Same in the [pd sorting] subpatch.
Irrespective of whether text window is open or closed, with data or
without.
Mac OS 10.14.5, Pd-0.50-0test1
Best,
"sort" doc is hidden away in "text define" (one sends "sort" message to the
define object, no need for a separate "text sort" object just to do that.)
There's no "gui" method to pdcontrol anymore - I was talked out of it. I have
to get it out of the help window though - will do that now.
thanks
to do this check if LoadLibrary fails.

There should be a better error message for this... maybe I can find a way Pd
can detect the mismatch instead of just failing. This is likely to cause
a lot of people a lot of trouble.

+1000 for this one :)
I didn't mention any features in my suggestions, but if I had picked one,
that would be it!
Actually, if I'm not mistaken,
thank you very much, miller!
very excited about the “range” in text search, hooray!
and pdcontrol is super useful too!
two other observations as per release notes:
1. didn´t find "sort method for text object” ?
2. pdcontrol: the example for system command in the help file "gui pdsend

Do not disconnect to objects connected (Otherwise "Connect Selection"

Less intelligent patching works fine too.

Hello Miller,
Thank you for this new version !
Tested on Ubuntu 18.04.3 LTS with Test audio and MIDI and with Gem ver:

for the sake of keeping things organized on github, I see we still have a
0.49-1 milestone here
https://github.com/pure-data/pure-data/milestone/5 probably
this was put there before releasing 0.49, anyway, this could be moved to
0.50 https://github.com/pure-data/pure-data/milestone/6 - and maybe
