[PD] weird slider zooming
hi all, when i zoom the sliders (with ctrl++), not just the px are doubled but also the value range. also the vice versa with ctrl+-. it would be nice, if this could be fixed in one of the next versions. or is there a certain function of this, i don't get? i'm using arch linux 64bit with version 0.47.1 (from aur) best richard ___ Pd-list@lists.iem.at mailing list UNSUBSCRIBE and account-management -> https://lists.puredata.info/listinfo/pd-list
[PD] abstraction arguments and GUI
I oftenly use abstractions with arguments (e.g. preset values) typed into the object box. Unfortunately in that mode the abstractions own GUI is invisible, due to arguments only working, when “Hide object name and argumets” is active. Couldn’t there be a way, that let’s one alternatively type arguments into fields contained within the objects properties window? How could one preserve the abstraction GUI and use arguments? Or how do you work alternatively? Thanx for any insights. jayrope - - - www.jayrope.com www.aircushionfinish.com www.ello.co/jayrope ___ Pd-list@lists.iem.at mailing list UNSUBSCRIBE and account-management -> https://lists.puredata.info/listinfo/pd-list

Re: [PD] abstraction arguments and GUI
Thank you for answering, Miller. Should i do create a github issue for one of the next versions. It would really be quite nice to be able to fall back to editing the arguments without having to destroy that object and reconnect the new one with subsequent objects… Thank you for all you do! jayrope - - - www.jayrope.com www.aircushionfinish.com www.ello.co/jayrope On Aug 12, 2017, at 18:30, Miller Puckettewrote: > I've been meaning to provide a way to do this - perhaps makng a fallback > 'properties' dialog for any object that allows you to edit the text > description and re-create the object (and maybe also its exact screen location > etc). Re: [PD] abstraction arguments and GUI
I've been meaning to provide a way to do this - perhaps makng a fallback 'properties' dialog for any object that allows you to edit the text description and re-create the object (and maybe also its exact screen location etc). One of the many features that still need designing and implementing :) M On Sat, Aug 12, 2017 at 02:36:12PM +0200, jlistshit wrote: > I oftenly use abstractions with arguments (e.g. preset values) typed into the > object box.
