That’s really neat. Do you know what the underlying word recognition engine is?
Also, from Gemma on the App Store:
if you want to create your own Gem, follow these steps:
1. Get the Gemma app
2. Download and install GemmaLib from our homepage
3. Create your own instrument and GUI in Pure Data with tools within GemmaLib
4. Drag and drop your file into the Documents
With PdParty, the built in web server provides access to the Documents
directory.
Ahh interesting, how does that work? Do you connect to the iPhones server
and upload files through some interface?

BTW, there is a stub of a Pd extern that does use sphinx on github. The
extern simply outputs the text that it decodes from the speech input.
This project needs some work to make it more useful (and the coding
style is embarrassingly crude), but it builds and works on both linux
I use CocoaWebserver with the WebDAV extension. You connect to the app with
Finder, Nautilus, FIlezilla, etc

Did a test with Sphinx a long time ago, but Kiku use Julius. If you
don't mind sending your voice / PD keywords to Google, there is an
alternative called Palaver
