I think Rolf is using the 64bit 0.50. This one does not ship pdfontloader so Pd is using default "courier" font. Rolf can you switch the console's error log to 4 (all) and tell which font Pd is using? I have already spotted this on

Hi Rolf - I compared 0.49 and 0.50. It looks to me like the 64 bit version of 0.49 and 0.50, and the 32 bit version of 0.49, all look the same, but the 32-bit version of 0.49 has everything larger and smudgy-looking (apparently because Tcl/Tk was rescaling everything). The i386 version of 0.49
