Hi,
just to chime in with a third reply from within the Alpenrepublik™:
There is the often overlooked latency.pd test patch in 7.stuff/tools
which allows you to measure audio roundtrip latency. By doing so you
might be able to tell how much of latency is the audio versus the midi
part of pd.
Cool, thanks to everyone for the references. I'll check these out and will
look for ways to incorporate some of the efficiencies. The choice of
resizing arrays internally or externally is a tough one...maybe an option
for either is the way to go.
And about the timbreID examples: I caused some
I don't have access to any ventura machines but would like to hear more about
this. Looking down the portaudio github for the last year I don't see anything
about breakage on Ventura.
We can count on Apple though to break stuff on every OS release, harrumph.

Hi all,
Is anyone able to get PD 53.0 to work on Mac Ventura? I have a student with
and PD 53 and 52 are freezing after a few minutes. Changing the audio device
will cause it to freeze almost immediately.
Thanks!

Very nice!
In 'planifolia' (in deken) I have created some abstractions to deal with
arrays... not so many things, but there are two nice abstractions to
create dynamic-patch based operations with arrays ([array.binop] and
[arra.unop]).
Not related: Would it be possible to you to upload a git
