It's available as LV2, which is not the same as LADSPA, they are two very
distinct plugin formats.

JUCE7 (which a huge section of plugin devs use) also supports LV2 (plugin +
hosting).

Ok I forgot to mention this is on Debian Stable (11) and I found the
reason: plugin was compiled using `GLIBC_2.33` and
I am unable to load this (free version) in either Carla or BespokeSynth.
In carla it fails loading on these 2 lines:

I noticed this as well. Don't remember it happening until 0.48. Annoying.

I think you nailed it. I've got the same here on linux with list-abs and
la-kitchen. Had to manually add the paths before they worked. No problems
with the non-"-"-externals as far as I've noticed.

File this Linux bug under minor-but-annoying.
I use a desktop launcher to set up a midi-only Pd instance with a 16x16
input/output buss. The following startup string will do this successfully:
pd -rt -noaudio -audiobuf 1

Thank you for these answers.
Editing the Pd text file wasn't really much of a solution for me since I'm
dealing with a very large patch with many subpatches which would all have to be
changed; I was really looking for a way to scale everything at once and back
again should the need arise.

Ah
Hello list -
So whilst testing some of the newer Debian/Ubuntu versions to replace my
EOL/close to EOL versions I'm currently using, I ran into the enlarged font
rendering issue in Vanilla which has been discussed in various posts to this
list and I am aware the devs are still working on this.
