I'm trying to make dynamically created abstractions get inserted into
signal chains without using patch cords. In other words, something like the
attached diagramme.

Thanks everyone, that was very useful.
In the end, for my purposes, the mtx.ctl in the ELSE library was closest to
what I was after.
Thanks everyone!

Before reinventing the wheel: does anyone know of a library that would
contain something akin to radio buttons but in 2D?

I'm still new to dynamic patching, which I've only just started
experimenting with.
I was wondering if anyone has any neat examples, or tutorials, or videos?
Thanks!

Hi everyone,
I have used Arduino with the Firmata firmware with good results in the past

I’m curious to know if anyone has any experience of using the Nano 33 BLE

the Nano 33 BLE.

Hi everyone,
I'm trying to find someone to cover the teaching for a PD-based
"introduction to DSP" level 5 module at Bath Spa University in the coming

entitled "Foundations of Audio Processing." The teaching will most likely

Hello everyone,
Does the ">~" still exist? From what I gather it was in Pd-extended, but I
can't find which library it comes from. Does anyone know?
Thanks!

For several years now, I've been deploying Pd-extended in my teaching
environments, and linking to the same installers so that my students
could install exactly the same version on their own machines. (I am
perfectly aware that Pd-extended has not been maintained for some
time.)
I would welcome
Hi everyone,
I realise it's old and probably obsolete, but does the PeRColate library
still exist? It's not found by Deken. I can see that there's a GitHub repo
for the source that was updated last five years ago.
Alternatively, does anyone know of a library that has any kind of physical

Hi PD people,
Is there a current PD library that contains a 3rd order ambisonics encoder?
What I'm looking for is something that would allow me to encode 16 channels

Many thanks!

I'll be brief.
I need to be able to display musical performance instructions to several
performers at once (each with their own laptop, say) in an easy to deploy
and reasonably robust way. Text only, or static images only, or both would
be acceptable. It would be bonus to be able to move the text
Correction: the zooming feature does seem to work. The objects are
bigger and readable on a high density screen. I was under the
impression that the menu items were also going to get bigger, which is
not the case.

I've just tried test2 on Fedora. I got the source from Miller's site,
did ./autogen.sh, ./configure, make, make install.
Unfortunately, the zoom function doesn't seem to work at all on my
system. It's greyed out until you create a new patch; when you do, the
"zoom in" and "zoom out" entries are

This will probably seem like a newbie question to some, but let me
declare first that I've been using PD-extended for a long time, and I
did search for an answer to my question on the list archives and on
the pure-data.info site. There is a lot of conflicting and out-of-date
information so it's

Hi,
I just acquired a new laptop with a 4K (3840x2160) screen, and am
running Fedora Linux with PlanetCCRMA on it.
Everything works fine, pretty much, but everything in PD is just too
small. The menus are difficult to read. Objects are also so small that
it makes it difficult to hone in on the
I've been getting a strange error of late, which is very possibly
caused by my uprade to OSX 10.11 El Capitan.
Choosing "Portaudio" under the "Media" menu immediate crashes PD. I
get this error in the console:

).
But if someone has a better idea, I will be happy to change the patch.

I'm trying to install the HoaLibrary (and the CreamLibrary that it

I have installed the libraries in /Library/Pd and added those to the paths

I've also added the libraries to the startup flags:

Cream and Hoa.

Hello,
I believe that some students of mine might have borrowed an existing

tracing the original.
Can anyone let me know if you recognise where this might be lifted from? It
