I've only fiddled a bit with it, but I didn't have any of those problems...

Hey Mathieu!
On OSX intel.
First I compile and get the error:

I had the same problem, and banged my head on my desk for an hour
trying to figure it out until I just tried pduino 0.1 and it worked.
:-/
I couldn't find any arduino files in the extended version that I'm
using (to delete, as you suggested). Since I've been embroiled in the
pd on mactel fiasco
included in that package.
This sounds to me like the problem of mismatched versions. Try
reburning the firmware just in case.

Hi all,
I know that there was some activity going on at some point with using
VST plugins in Pd, and I got the impression that there were several
unrelated objects, or legacy objects, and I was never really sure
which the current VST object was for Pd (plugin~? vst~?). So…

Sorry if this has been covered before, I couldn't find reference to it.
I tried compiling Thomas Grill's vst~ using the vstsdk2.3 in OS X
(intel) and came up with the following error:
g++ -c -ffast-math -Os -ftree-vectorize -arch i386 -mmmx -msse -msse2
-msse3 -mtune=prescott -DNDEBUG
of errors.

Hi All,
Does anyone have PDa (one of the later versions, like .6 or .7)
compiled for Familiar for an iPaq?
I'm currently downloading an arm toolchain to compile it myself, but
don't have any prior experience with that and hoped someone had
already done the work.
Thanks!

hi!
I was trying to get VBAP working in OS X from the latest pd-extended and
I seemed to get all sorts of errors that indicated that VBAP is broken
in this release.
Defining loudspeakers gives the error:
error: vbap: no method for 'loudspeaker-matrices'
... which seems kind of weird.

Hi!
Maybe this is more of an ubuntu package question than a Pd question, but...
I've got an old iMac running xubuntu at home, except that home has no
internet connection. When I tried installing the pd-extended package
it went and tried to download the depends, which of course it
couldn't,
them on your net-less ppc at home and then install them first
with
sudo dpkg -i whatever.deb
Then install the pd-extended deb package using the same command.
That's what I would do - but it's not very elegant and maybe someone has a
better idea.

Hi there list,
I'm looking at doing a project prototype where the audio system is on the
iPhone, and it interfaces with an Arduino through serial.
I'm assuming since RJDJ is a working version of Pd, I could just use it as
the engine for this stage of the prototype.
Does the [comport] object

Hi Patrick,
Can you clarify that?
touchOSC acts as a bridge between rjdj and the serial port?
RJDJ sends OSC internally to touchOSC which sends stuff out of the iPhone
serial port? And reverse as well?
Thanks again

Hi Chuck,
Thanks for chipping in.
I need Pd on the iPhone to do the audio component and communication with
the Arduino, so I can't ditch rjdj (or whatever way I might get Pd working
on the iPhone).
I've also poked around and can't find any reference
