We don't know what OS you're on. I finally got around to moving the OSX window save state fix into the Problems Fixes section in the FAQ: http://puredata.info/docs/faq/help-pd-crashes-on-startup-on-mac-osx-10-7 Hopefully it will be easier to find in the future.
