... and indeed I can't get it to work either. So the only way in the GUI to
specify it is numericaly (like -midiindev 1,2,3,4,5). It can be done on the
sommand line (from a "terminal window" like this:
[...]/Pd-0.46-0test3.app/Contents/Resources/bin/pd \
-midiaddindev "Logidy UMI3" \
-midiaddind
OK... hopefully foxed now. THanks as always for flagging it.

Limit is 32 devices, in and out. I don't think there's any way to control the
order they appear in, unless the OS has something for that.

I have one that calls for 3 ports (Qnexus), and another for 2 (BCF) so the
two alonw gac go over 4 :)
