i did a patch, that implements the basic PJLink commands to control
shutter, power, input ...
i only used vanilla objects
the pjlink commands from the pjlink-documentation [1] are converted into
ascii messages and send to the desired ip-adress on port 43
...aaand i forgot the link:

The example i pointed out consumes quite some cpu-power.
but: in the help-browser you´ll find another example, that takes the
texture id of a framebuffer and allows to "crop" the texture. in this
example, the work is done by the gpu with the help of glsl-shaders.

i just chime in, playing around with a raspi3 and the openGL driver.
i second the statement, that the driver is pretty alpha, but it seems to
work, if one tweeks the right screws.

i did not compile from hand, but used the GEM version, that comes with

it is class compliant usb and its mixer can be accessed
via browser.
it offers 64in/64out@48kHz on the usb.
so generally, to find a suitable interface, i would look if it's class
compliant.
