I have no reports that ‘this is broken’ and a few ‘this has saved my life’
emails.
Can someone copy this new SciPDL 3 to the pdl web site? [sorry the info on how
to do this is used so infrequently it always permeates out of my brain cells]
thank you in anticipation

Hi all
Here is a new version of SciPDL for Mac now packaged as a DMG file and
documented:
https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/2148080/SciPDL-v3.0.dmg
Can people try?
Remember this is self-contained (includes it own perl)

Hi Karl,
I am testing this on my Mac, OS 10.10.5 (Yosemite). The results were mixed.
Unpacking went fine.

I know I have been slack getting back to SciPDL, so it is a bit rich for me to
pester people but if people could test this it would be appreciated
It should only take 5 mins.

Yes.
In fact I used the cpan utility to install a bunch of the perl modules needed
by SciPDL

Great!
Will cpanm/cpan/... work with the SciPDL? That
is a feature I really like with Strawberry Perl Portable.
I'll let actual Mac users and testers let you know how
it works. :-)
