For the interactive shells, the default should be clean and simple.
Users should be able to enable strict and warnings if they desire.

The current PDL-2.008 rc2 is testing well with CPAN Testers.
I expect to push rc3 today to address an issue with missing build
dependencies causing NA reports. With that still good, I expect
we can have an official release this weekend.
If you are a PDL::xxx module author, please check your
