That would be good, we actually had a meetup recently (That's where
the fountain picture came from). I'll let you know the next time
something is scheduled.
Let me know anytime you want to get together.

You don't understand. My camera backfocuses like it was *meant* to do that,
even after sending it back to Pentax twice (both times for other problems,
but I asked them to fix this, too). The image will look sharp in the
viewfinder, but when looking at the photo on my computer later it becomes
Way to go, Sasha. Congrats! Nice pic too! Cheers, Christine

Congrats on your 1st Red Tailed Hawk shots, Dave. I like the 1st one. Some
nice detail and light. The twigs look like they are coming out of the
bird's head in the 2nd one, but still an interesting capture. Cheers,

As to your rant. Very soon after starting reading you I realized it
wasn't specifically for me, so it's ok.
For me, the write speed was the big improvement over the *istD. I don't recall
using af on it very often. The K20 was an improvement in af but I still
manually focus it quite a bit. The K-x is much better at af than the K20 and I
suspect the K7 is even better. Give them a few more models

And he has done quite well at each of these different genres. Nice going

Yes the K-x processing engine does do a pretty good job with the colors. I
prefer the first shot - there is more there to hold my attention.

Nice scene there. The exposure looks quite good. The sky seems just a little
to dominant. I would crop a little off the top.
