(re)discovered the Pentax LX Gallery - an epic opus prepared many years
ago on the legendary LX. It's not just a gallery of photos taken with

Connecticut had a number of thriving photo shops. A lot started during
the SLR boom of the '70's almost all of them quietly folded up pretty
much after that ended. A lot of the old timers, shops that had been
existence since the 1950's, or earlier, have been slowly closing up as
well. It
This flock of what may be Sandpipers, was zooming around the Colusa
reserve displaying first their bright underside then the dark backside.
The percentage of close to in-focus or actual in-focus was the closest
in this shot. So here 'tis.

Just had a quick look at some of the shots on the home page. That red sports
car (looks a bit like a big Healey, but isn't. Jag?) is nice. Amusing that the

This one has some people in the foreground, but otherwise records the same
scene. I am not sure if I like this better or not. Usually, I avoid
people, in life as well as in photography. Thats because I am an old
curmudgeon.

created a SquareSpace Blog for those images. For a Short while, a few
years back, I tried SquareSpace for my PESOs, but quickly went back to
