Thanks Igor, The clarity and crispness are as recorded by the camera. I added a wee bit of overall sharpening to the Cardinal pic but none to the Grackle. I generally just correct exposure, usually pulling down highlights and pushing shadows a bit when converting from RAW in PhotoShop. I

I’ve had three juncos hanging out in my yard recently. With the fires making things difficult, I grabbed a bag of bird seed and have been tossing some out intermittently. this afternoon, one was on the power line coming to my house and I was able to get a few decent shots
