Thanks Alan! As Ann mentioned, the bridge in question, about 5 miles long, connects the Lower portion of Michigan to the Upper Peninsula (i.e., the U.P.) The photo of the bridge is near the southern end of the bridge. My time on the island involved a ferry ride over from Mackinaw City (English
