Not sure about that, Mike - I seem to recall seeing it in the UK before I left,
in 1981, thus it was familiar to me when
it showed in OZ

enjoyed both of your soggy day sets fellas ... pretty much what we have
had here yesterday and this morning.. haven't done any photography
to document it, but the photo I put in of the January PUG tells the same
story.. appears to have been a very appropriate topic.
I didn't need a waterproof
Appears to be a trifle moist, yes.

Hi Ann and thank you.
I’m having some chillaxing time. I suppose I have to formally introduce myself.
I’ll make time in the week :)
I don’t have a website or blog. It’s been about 5 years since I’ve uploaded on
Flickr. I need to start there again.
I mostly post on my Facebook page

serious possibility.. someone is getting rid of their tree but too lazy
to remove the decorations??
I'll skip the symbolism that it calls to mind ;-)

This morning we found Leopard spoor in the driveway in front of
St.Francis Church, Phalaborwa. Leopards are common around here but
seldom seen. They prey on small mammals like Dassies, Squirrels, feral
Cats & whatever else they can find. Here are an adult spoor, a cub spoor
& a cub spoor trail.
Welcome, Ian..
I'm the lister who suggested to Alan that you hop onto the list - since
you are, after all, a Pentax shooter..
Fabulous capture that he shared...
Hope you are pun-tolerant there is a lot of that going on on the list.
Regards,
ann
