Thanks, Rick & Larry. The bee actually crawled right up inside the floret. The difficulty with getting sharp macros is DOF. I used f16 in this case. Perhaps I'll try again at f22 or even f32. Henk T uses stacks with stationary subjects like mushrooms but I haven't tried that yet. Alan C On 18
