Yes, the PDML is something of an anomaly in this regard. The mailman
settings strongly recommend reply to sender. It certainly cuts down on
list traffic, but since our little community thrives on group sharing, I
think reply to list is warranted.

I shot some 4x5 Polaroid with my Speed Graphic back in the '80s. Great fun.
Landscapes had a painterly look. Still have a polaroid back for a 4x5, but
don't think film is available. And if it were, I'm sure it would be costly.

I came to Kirk and Arca Swiss from the regular Bogen/Manfrotto QR plates
many of us start with. There wasn't a lot of auditioning different
plates; I got a couple of ball heads, one on a Gitzo leg set and another
for my ancient Bogen 3021 set. A friend suggested Kirk plates, even
