Was out shooting the other day. I very religiously avoid using flash,
but this particular instance I wanted a flash.
Nothing major, in fact, the smaller the better.
And I remembered years and years ago, I purchased a tiny Vivitar flash

Perhaps it will come with the strap. I always sell my used cameras
with all the original equipment in the original box. I think I get a
better price that way. And since I don't use the Pentax straps (I use
the Tamrac straps that clip on), the OE straps look brand new at sale

My neighbor asked me for camera advice and should be getting her K100D
in the mail tomorrow.
But I forgot to tell her to order a camera strap to go with it, and I
don't have any spares.
I'm wondering if anyone here has a spare camera strap they'd be
willing to part with inexpensively?
Thanks.

I'm a fan of my Optio Z10 (old stock only available) which has a
"Digital Wide Mode" allowing you to take two overlapping vertically

Hi Thibouille,
While shopping for a small P&S with WA lens, I came across the Canon
Powershot SD880. This camera starts at 28mm, has 3-inch screen w/out

The thing is for my mother, not for me. Screen is obviously more
important than any kind of OVF or EVF =)
I saw the Lumix FX37 but it seems European Service fr Panasonic is as
good as it was non-existent (according to my trusted usual dealer).

Thanks Godfrey - that will help a lot.
I looked at the Manfrotto 190Pro series. Very nice and would do what I
want. However the cost of even the aluminium version with pan head is
probably more than I can justify - unless I can't find anything suitable
for less money.
Thanks also for the other
