PJ, you're right. There is a bounce version and an older non-bounce. Though the bounce feature is kinda funny to me as I don't remember it having enough power to bounce off the ceiling! I would almost go for the 2400 except that I want the auto modes on the 2000. But you're right about it being

Thanks everyone for your comments, I'm going to have to find out more about the Metz 58AF2. The website mentions a permanent modelling light which could be useful - I know about the strobe effect modelling light, but the word permanent suggests something else. I'll forget about the Sigma flashes.

Larry, the fastest widest lens you can buy for K mount is Sigma 20/1.8. I am thinking that anything else starts at f/2.8. I love my DA* 16-50. It's plenty fast and very sharp and contrasty throughout the range. But I also like the DA 12-24. Not as fast at f4 wide open, but very good performance, and that extra chunk of angle of view comes in handy now and then. I frequently use it to shoot automobile and home inter

I have the Zenitar and the DA 14/2.8. I prefer primes in general, but especially at the focal lengths that would be considered the wide and narrow ranges of a given zoom. The Zenitar is worth it's money, but tends to be easily susceptible to flare/reduced contrast in the center of the image circl

Perhaps it will come with the strap. I always sell my used cameras with all the original equipment in the original box. I think I get a better price that way. And since I don't use the Pentax straps (I use the Tamrac straps that clip on), the OE straps look brand new at sale time. Paul Pau
