I don't think it is a good idea to use *any* camera that relies on a motor to transport film. FWIW, the LX is specified to work electronically between -20 and +50°C. The mechanical shutter speeds are specified to work up to -30° C (thats quite cold but can happen in Russia). The MX is specified to
