Its not that hopeless. I have a prior version that
goes for about $499 on OBoy from Kiev Camera but it
does not tilt in all directions, just downward when in
the horizontal position and tilts to the right or left
when in
sure. 7lbs of camera, 7lbs of tripod and head, focusing under the dark
cloth... all the bells and whistles from glorious '20s
