I've discovered that if you beat the hell out of the 43mm limited eventualy it makes a god awful, grinding noise when it focuses, which actually makes Canon shooters cringe, (a bit of a nice side effect actually). It still focuses smoothly, but I guess I should send it into Pentax for repair on
