PDML books has been finished and shipped to Chicago! The anticipated
ship date was May 3 (Monday), but the books got done early and
actually shipped yesterday. They were printed in St. Louis, so Chicago
is a fairly short trip:

Other things have come up that I have to attend to. Doubt I'll even be

Sorry to hear that John.
I may be in Raleigh later his summer - my wife periodically gets together with
her gang-of-six, all roommates from college, U. Mich '67. This year is in
Raleigh.
I'll give you fair warning if it looks like I will be there.

When we were in Amsterdam, we did a lot of walking. One afternoon, my

She was well prepared before we got to the Red Light district. With
the coffee shop, she had forgotten what we had heard about the
Amsterdam coffee shops, so when she barged right in, she was taken by
surprise -- and by the smoke.

Agreed about the tea. Germany serves up a good cup of coffee, too.
It's a rare occasion that I can get coffee as good here in the States

my book has already arrived here in Germany. I have no idea how that is
even possible when according to blurbs email it was sent out yesterday.
Unless the book is really printed somewhere in Europe.

I paid 41.90 for the book, plus 3.29 taxes plus 5.17 shipping. The
shipping in Europe is supposed to be some kind of flat-rate. All values
in EURO.
