It would be very uneven lighting. You'd have to have two flashes, and you'd still have some nasty reflections, Your best bet is to use the lighting in the show area and adjust your filtration accordingly. If you check with some local photographers who regularly shoot in that exhibition hall, they

It's very difficult to light a car for flash photography. The studio photogs use giant heavily diffused light boxes hung from the ceiling of a big studio. The boxes have to be positioned just so to achieve acceptable highlights, and they have to be augmented with various reflectors and flags.
