I should think that having already paid for the product and waited for
delivery once, correcting their error should put you at the front of the
queue.

They came straight back with an apology and a promise to send a set of plain
stops. Unfortunately, this may take some weeks, due to manufacture backlogs.
Frustration continues..

Ho hum. This beast uses Waterhouse style aperture plates. It's supposed to
come with a set of plain plates, a set of "specially designed" plates to produce
"deep, textured backgrounds rarely achieved in photography" and another set of
plates in heart, snowflake and other vomit-inducing shapes.

It looks interesting. In the sample photos the Bokeh looks passing
strange. The same order of strangeness that one gets from a mirror
telephoto, but of a different kind. I'm not sure I like it. Too bad
they didn't make the Petzval lens in K mount, that looks even more
interesting, also

My K-mount Lomo Daguerrotype lens arrived. Beautifully packaged, it looks
magnificent in its little plastic bag with a sachet of dessicant. It weighs a
lot, too.
It is also ice cold and, being solid brass except for the glass bits, I'm going
to have to wait until it's up to
