Watching from afar, my impression was that recent governments in the UK had no
Opinions.
Rather, they had Positions, and said Positions might change daily or weekly
depending on feedback from donors and/or polling organizations.
(Not unlike a few other governments I can think of.)

We are both talking about the camera that uses a way outdated and very
expensive imaging

Yeah, I would expect that a new GPU would give you the most bang for your buck.
If you can upgrade the CPU without upgrading your MOBO, that would give a good
boost with less risk of finding out that your new mobo doesn't support some bus
that one of your old cards needs, or suchlike.

These squabbles don’t bother me. PhotoShop is my lifeblood, and it has been for
25 years. I use the cloud version for about ten bucks a month, and I don’t
store anything on Adobe servers. I use my own storage and Dropbox. What’s more,
PhotoShop gets better every year. No complaints.

I got a chance to play with my K-1 last night. I realized that I hadn't tried
the 85/1.4 out photographing musicians, and since there was going to be a live
band at the milonga last night, I spent a couple tandas playing with them. The
lighting was exceptionally challenging, there are several
