recharging the original. The cheap battery seems to work fine.
By the way, is there any disadvantage to recharging this type of
battery before it's dead? I don't like surprises. I'd rather recharge
too soon rather than too late.
I don't think Li ion batteries have memory effects, they can just catch
fire burn and/or explode. Not a surprise really...
