I took a stab at shooting last night. Used *istD, K 300/4 + 2x Kenko AF converter. Got several shots somewhat like Marks, though I don't think any are quite as sharp as the one he presented (nice shot Mark!). These two I rather liked. The first because the shadowed part of the moon is still quite visible, while there is still a bit of atmospheric haze showing the brightness of the non-shadowed part. The second I like because of the bigger emphasis on the haze.
