Subject: Midroll rewind ZX-5n
Hello fellow ZX-5n users:
It's a fact that the ZX-5n doesn't lead the film
leader out as one re-winds midroll. How do you folks
deal w/ retrieving the film leader on a partially
exposed roll

Explain the tool please. I'd like to make one. I have the same problem
sometimes when a leader slips inside.
best,

you need a thin and flexible opaque plastic strip no more than about 2cm
Thanks for the suggestions folks. I will have to try
opening the back during the re-wind process. How much
practice manual dexterity does one need? :)
I guess a film leader retriever wouldn't be a back
investment either. BH has ones from ~$5 to ~$18. Has
anyone ordered this from BH before?
i keep a film retrieving tool in my main camera bag. it's a strip of
plastic with double sided tape at one end. i made it myself in 30 seconds
and it always works.

I only bothered to do this a few times, and each time I did it by
reactivating the rewind,
