Thanks.
By the time i finished loading, naming, and up loading, i was tired
and never did take a look at them in PS.
On the MS default browser, they don't look to bad. Maybe there is hope
for this D2H after all.:-)
During sunnier times i shot at iso 1000, 1/400 at f3.2. When the
clouds came in
Dave: Despite the lighting issues, you still got some nice shots. Cheers,

I'll be getting there earlier than the start time, as i want to play a
bit with settings, but i'm just wondering if setting a CWB either with
a white piece of paper or my Expo disk might help matters.
The weekend is supposed to be some what sunny, so i'll have some
brighter diffused light coming

I have been asked to do several indoor, no flash horse shows this and
next weekend.
Since my last venture there, they have removed the sky lights that
helped in shooting, so now
its just what ever falls in from the side windows.
I don't really like doing these indoor things anymore, but they
Dave,
I suppose it's impossible to get some 'shop' lights set up in one or
two places around the ring. Beyond that, it's high ISO and pray. I
understand about the flash, but that makes it pretty tricky.

You might want to shoot RAW, so you can set your white balance in conversion.
That will also give you more exosure latitude. I'd be careful to avoid
underexposure, as that significantly increases noise -- as I'm sure you know.

I'm taking the D2H and D1H. I am thinking i will shoot the combo, raw
plus a jpg so i can quickly get a page built from BBPro.
I'm still not good at post processing 400 odd raws to jpegs yet.
