Limpopo Floods:

A number of crocodile farms suffered the same fate because they are mostly near major rivers. As all the rivers are inhabited by (plenty) crocs, the farm losses wouldn't make much difference. Most are small & would soon be eaten by predators anyway. Catching crocs in the wild is no easy task unless, perhaps, they call in Crocodile Dundee.

People had to be evacuated by helicopter from many low lying areas (the focus has now switched to Mozambique). The Shingwedzi river completely flooded the camp of the same name almost to rooftop level. In this case, wild crocs were seen swimming around between the chalets!
