Heh, sounds like my secondary affliction: bizarro home theatre. My
setup is the most rag-tag, mongrel-looking unit ever assembled (though
the wood-panelled blue-lighted fake-stainless-steel amp sadly went to
Vintage Amplifier Heaven), but the movies sound great. A buddy of mine
turned out to have an Ashly FET-500 power amp (one of the first power
amps to be THX certified for theatrical presentation) that he was using
as a DOORSTOP. Needless to say, I traded him a lens I wasn't using for
it. :)
Hey, I just lucked into a 16mm projector...anybody got any 16mm prints? :)
