Got my car repaired today. Didn't hurt as much as I feared.
Total was less than $400, mostly because I let the three gouges in the finish slide & just had them replace the damaged tail-light & mirror assembly.
Called and left a message with the guy's care-giver at the phone number "Dave" gave me.
