Nicely done. The water reflections really make the shot.
Cheers

I'd like to thank everyone who commented. There's a bit more motion
blur in the full size image than I'd like, next time I go I'll bring a
tripod instead of trying for street shooting.

Nice. That was one of the most challenging things I've shot in a long
time. A couple people from my camera club went down in July.

I shot this at Providence in 2006 using a DS w/43mm limited. I posted
it at the time but it's long been lost off line so I created a new
rendering, and a BW version at the same time. I never though to take a
tripod they always get in the way when shooting moving on a street.
Well anyway I
That looks great. I didn't get any elevated shots. You are
definitely right about the tripod. I had kids snaking under the legs
most of the time, but they weren't too much of a bother. :)

I went to WaterFire in Providence, RI with some camera club friends on
Saturday. They are OMG incredibly difficult to shoot well.
Curiously, I got better shots after I ditched the tripod and bumped up
to 3200 ISO (which I've never shot at-K100DS), and was able to move
around and get scenery and

In this case, I wish the gondolier shot was rendered in color.
