Philly Parkes! Takes me right back to the early 70s and Phil Parkes, the great goalkeeper of Wolverhampton Wanderers in the days of Derek Dougan. Back then, every good goalkeeper was called Parkes. Apart from Gary Sprake, obviously. He was an anagram of Parkes. And he was never on the bench. B
