I like the crop, but I'd suggest going even further and taking out the
rest of the flower on the right, making the frame more in the portrait
orientation. (similar to the second crop per Shel's suggestion, but
leaving in the top of the background flower.)

Oh the birdy is damn near perfect... II like the geometry but the bloom
in the back isn't blurred enough
not to be distracting... this is a case where edge to edge sharp would
work too.
but you really captured the hummers colors and that is sooo tough!
