Sent this yesterday, but it doesn’t seem to have shown up on the PDML. These loons were frequent visitors to the cove our cottage was on. I took this on the fifth day of our two-week stay; by the end the chick was much larger, and was sporting a white breast, and speckled white-and-black head

These loons were frequent visitors to the cove our cottage was on. I took this on the fifth day of our two-week stay; by the end the chick was much larger, and was sporting a white breast, and speckled white-and-black head and body feathers. By late September it will probably follow its parents
