On my trip north to the Redwoods, I arrived at Trinidad Beach just as the sun set. It had been a fairly warm day with minimal fog, still I was surprised to see surfers there -- the water must have been COLD. I guess surfers are just universally nuts.

Thanks, ann. Yup, the Redwoods were fantastic and Trinidad was beautiful. Just happenstance I hit it at the right time of day and the sky was clear. But I saw a lot of inredibly beautiful stuff. I'll be throwing up a Redwood Gallery soon. I just wasn't sure I could do it all justice, so glad
