John, I like them both. Years ago I was photographing one of them
with a LX and a 50 mm A.2.8 Macro that I had just bought brand new,
Then all of a sudden he jumped right up on the camera, I did not
expect it and I dropped the camera to the ground and the lens took
the hit on the on the front

I love this shot!
I've been hoping to get some snake photos in the wild for quite some
time now, but simply haven't seen any. I did manage to get a shot of a
boa constrictor recently, at a wildlife refuge. But, it's nowhere near
as interesting to look at as your shot here, bland colors and
Ann I like this shot. It seems to give an idea of personality to the snake. I
just wonder if the color might be a little muted.

Well, I was shooting through glass... hmm I'm not sure if you are
saying you think the color is less intense than
the snake would
