I prefer the 2nd one. You might want to tweak the rendering just a bit to

I like the simpler with just the three birds. The shadows are an integral part
of the pic, and one shadow is cropped in the other version.

I like the first, the juxtaposition of the Flamencos and the Ibis, (at
least I think it's an Ibis), makes the shot.

I like the one with 4 birds. The white bird adds interest, and its
shadow is a focal point for the entire composition.

The 4 birds. The top right bird lends a context to the other 3.
